Haven't been able to find an answer to this question anywhere, sorry if I missed it.
The Blunami conversions look great for some of my older 5v PS2 or dead TMCC. I believe that DCC is an open spec and boards are available from several vendors that work with each other. It's that true of Blunami's communication protocol? Are they using DCC commands?
It would be great if there were multiple vendors for O scale that actually talked to each other. And maybe the competition would make Lionel and MTH have to make their stuff interoperable someday. It really is an unnecessarily complicated situation right now with Menards, MTH, and Lionel all requiring their own controls to operate their engines in their best modes.
Looking forward to trying a Blunami conversion soon!
Thanks
