I am bringing a friend to York who is not a TCA member. He is coming with me as my guest. We are not related; he is a friend and big-time HO enthusiasts. He has started a pretty good sized layout and is excited about visiting York with me. I already have my pass. We both have been saving up the green stuff.
Where do I go when I get there and how do we get him registered to enter the buildings? I have (obviously) never done this before.

Silver hall registration desk
As stated the silver hall registration. I believe they are open several hours before the meet.
Get there as early as possible as the lines can get pretty long.

If you are traveling there on a day of the meet, I'd plan on getting there as close to the registration desk's opening time as possible (times are listed in the registration booklet). If you are arriving the night before (or both of you are close enough to drive over), the registration desk also has late afternoon hours on Wednesday (also listed in the booklet).

I believe that you can also register on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons in the silver hall.
Forgot to pre-register so if you see me in line be sure to wave.
