Arrived yesterday, unboxed this morning. Superb car in every respect. Even the Presidential Seal is readable...incredible graphic. (MTH 20-64089)
A true American patriot and hero. God Bless George H.W. Bush.

Thanks for the pictures.
Welcome.
any idea when the balance of the cars are shipping?
No, I do not know when the rest of the cars are shipping. I'm also waiting for the MTH RailKing Bush 41 loco. I hope they show up soon.
JIM911, MrMuffin advised me yesterday MTH should be shipping the RailKing 4141 next month.
Took delivery of my baggage car yesterday. Got it from PatsTrains. I like it a lot. Very well done.
Now I just need to find the Army Honor Guard figures.
Actually, in this case a Naval Honor Guard.
A question have been meaning to ask. By chance is the interior illuminated????

You will be impressed Ron. MTH really upped its game with their passenger cars. Incredibly sharp graphics, complete underbody detail vs just between the trucks, more prototypical diaphrams, closer coupling with no thumb tacks. Also baggage doors that open like the prototype and fit flush with the body when closed. No doors on the casket side though. Here is the other end next to a new Lionel 21" car.

I have MTH's first and second flag baggage cars. The first one numbered 5769 (doors not painted) and second one numbered 5769 which is prototypically correct for UP's other car. In fact was going to use the first one for the funeral car. But then saw things probably could not duplicate. So ordered the new one.
Bought the Bush 41 (UP 4141) years ago when first out. And many years ago bought these passenger sets. Note two dome cars in set.
I am currently working on the original set baggage car to convert it to.
Also recently bought the MTH madison (heavyweight) set to get the observation car.
So will have a far representation of the funeral train.

I had planned to do a train in 18" cars but wasn't finding any until I went to York and found some K-Line cars. The set came with a boat tail Observation. When a blunt end K-Line Observation came up for auction it went for well over 600 bucks. Thats when I started looking at Lionel. I got 5 21" cars for what the single K-Line car would have cost me. Since then I discovered Lionel did an 18" set with blunt end observation in 2015. Dead heat on a merry go round. The Lionel 21" cars require a lot of work but I think are closest to prototype. I may still try and put together an 18" train with K-Line, MTH and Lionel 18" cars.

Pete 21/22-inch cars are beauties but from my perspective need O-120 curves or at least O-106. Just like the 18-inch cars look best on at least O89. Just my thoughts. But on a straight away nothing better.
Ron
I can run the 21"cars on the club layout but had known about the Lionel 18" cars when I started, my search would have ended there. I am a fan of Lionel 18" cars and the MTH cars would work with those too.
