Button sequence on starter set remote to perform factory reset on the engine? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I recall last year MTH added the code to allow one to do a factory reset on an engine using the little remote included in the RTR set but I can't find the button pushing sequence to do this. Anybody here know it?

From the 3rd edition of The DCS O Gauge Companion:

Newer PS3 engines, manufactured starting in 2014, may have the capability to perform a Factory Reset through a combination of button presses (SND, DIR, -). This is made possible by revised firmware in newer (2014) PS3 engines.

Steve, I also think it is in the newer instruction manual for these sets.

PS-3 has also added additional W/B sequences to control extra light features. Like turn on or off the marker lights. G
