I need to replace the wall wart for my cab1 command base. I am unable to find an oem part. Can anyone tell me if there is an aftermarket product I can replace it with?

The power supply is 12 VAC at 100 ma. It uses a 5.5 x 2.1 mm connector. The Lionel part number is SA35-429A and available here:

Although the description for that product includes "TMCC", I'm not sure that it will work. In addition to needing the right AC voltage, TMCC uses the house's ground wires for the signal, and that unit does not have a ground plug. There are threads on the forum regarding a workaround.
As stated above without the ground prong this will not work. The common side must be tied to the ground prong for the TMCC signal to properly propagate via the house ground.
I have the original TMCC command base which did have the power supply with a ground prong.

This is NOT suitable as a replacement for the TMCC BASE1 brick!
Note no ground pin on the outlet, that is required as it is connected to the outside of the barrel connector to the base.

I'm gonna step outside of the box here, but what about using a wall pack from a cab2 set? I don't the details about the power ratings but it would seem like it could work, and the cab2 power pack is still available from Lionel's website. To me it sounds like a no brainer but just to try.
If it did work it would bring back all those TMCC sets to life!
The Cab2 is an 8 VAC supply, 4 VAC too low.
