The power supply is 12 VAC at 100 ma. It uses a 5.5 x 2.1 mm connector. The Lionel part number is SA35-429A and available here:

Although the description for that product includes "TMCC", I'm not sure that it will work.  In addition to needing the right AC voltage, TMCC uses the house's ground wires for the signal, and that unit does not have a ground plug.  There are threads on the forum regarding a workaround.

This is NOT suitable as a replacement for the TMCC BASE1 brick!

Note no ground pin on the outlet, that is required as it is connected to the outside of the barrel connector to the base.

I'm gonna step outside of the box here, but what about using a wall pack from a cab2 set? I don't the details about the power ratings but it would seem like it could work, and the cab2 power pack is still available from Lionel's website. To me it sounds like a no brainer but just to try.

If it did work it would bring back all those TMCC sets to life!
