You can get rubber flex antennas with sma connectors...pay attention to the male/female of the threads and the center pin though. If you do use a bnc, you can get an adapter sma to bnc but again they come in different male/female configurations. I think the one on the CABs is what they call a reverse sma. Look around.

The CAB-1 does not have a RF connector of any sort. The easiest retrofit is a BNC connector fitted to the case, with a 27Mhz CB walkie-talkie antenna replacing the multi section original.

Hi Rob • I went to the web page you show, what is the process to install this antenna on a Lionel Cab 1. Have you done this to your Lionel Cab 1? If so please show photos.
