I moved from New York to California and the movers lost the box containing (among other things) the power supply/adapter for my Cab-1.  I have the remote and base unit but no way to power them. The base unit says it needs 12VAC 100mA. Does anybody know where I can get a replacement? A couple of questions:

1. How closely do I need to match the amperage spec - i.e. if I found a 12VAC 200mA adapter would that cause a problem?

2. I've measured the hole for the plug (I guess it's called a barrel plug) at about 6mm.  I don't have the male side plug to measure but the plug on my router is 5mm and doesn't fit so I'm guessing I'm looking for roughly 4mm?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Craig

As CJACK mentions, there is an alternative in a pinch - use a similarly sized 12vac wall wart and run a wire from pin 5 of the Command Base rs-232 port to the ground screw of a nearby grounded metal duplex outlet or household electrical ground until you get the right adapter.

Lionel should have the original units in stock HERE if needed.
