I changed a shell on a ps3 diesel. I down loaded the appropriate sound files ok, now the question is can the cab number be changed by using the appropriate flash down load? All options function as they should, it would only re flash to gain the correct cab number if that’s possible?

You can change the name displayed on the DCS remote in the configuration. Note that it'll only stick until you do a factory reset on the engine. A tech with the dealer loader can make a permanent name change.
Thanks John, I knew I could change the number on the remote, but did not no if I could permanently change it through doing a re-flash. I’ll just leave well enough alone.
