Check out the blue box version of CAB1, the CAB1-L, at Phil's BYHRR this weekend, and except for the ability to do a lame quilling of a diesel horn, didn't see any advantage over the current CAB1 system we run. It didn't do anything else our CAB1 wouldn't do. Did we miss something? Also learned two people trying to control the same locomotive, one using Legacy and the other the CAB1-L, just doesn't work out very well ;-).
So, decision was made. No upgrading to CAB1-L. Only have one Legacy switcher on order anyway. No other Legacy on the layout.
