Is there adequate room to add TMCC, cruise control and sound to this loco? I have a few of them and would like to upgrade them with command control and prototypical slow movement. If you've done it or personally know someone who has, which ERR boards were used? Where did you put the spoeaker? What, if any, modification to the shell or frame did you need to do to make it all fit? Your advice and experience with this upgrade is welcomed.

Well, K-Line managed to cram command control and sound into the little A5, so I'd have to say the answer is yes.

I added the Cruise Commander M to mine, and it'll get a fan driven smoke unit when I get around to it.

But I thought you couldn't get sound and command in your Dockside.
The command and sound modules are smaller now. I might have to revisit it someday.

Did the same to mine, works great.
If anyone else has input on doing this, please post your thoughts and / or experiences.
I have replaced the sound board in a "Docksider" but not TMCC. The A-5 electronics would never fit but the newer ERR mini Commander and RS5 boards might fit. Speaker selection will be limited due to lack of space. A better option might be Mini Cruise in the engine and some sort of trailing car for sound like a boxcar, covered hopper, or transfer caboose which would be appropriate right behind the engine.
