I have a Rail King Diesel with Protosound and I would like to upgrade it to DCS is this possible?

MTH sells upgrade kits for PS-3, and they might still or at least used to for PS-2.
thank you
You will be good. It is an easy do.
Well... the diesel kit isn't really "hard", but the PS/3 one is a bit more of a handful than the PS/2 or the PS/3 steam upgrade.
John, I was told over a year ago that the PS3 diesel kit will go the way of the PS32 steam kit. It will (in time) come with the PS32 board. As it is now, I would bet my last dollar someone in China tangles all those wires on purpose. Not a fun rats nest to deal with as you know. When it is untangled and ready to go, the kit goes well.
Marty, I think I'll buy a couple of extra diesel kits so I have stock before they screw them up. If they dumb them down like the steam kit, you lose a lot of the cool functionality that makes the PS/3 worthwhile.

I agree. I like the PS3 kits.

MTH part number?
MTH 50-1912 Proto Sound 3.0 Diesel Locomotive Upgrade Kit
We went over this, before, the last word was keeping PS-3 and using a different more flexible harness assembly. G
I hope that is the last word George, I think dumbing it down like the steam kit is a bad idea.
