OK BIG DISCLAIMER! NONE of these buildings are mine nor did I build them. Over the years on various auction sites, I created a file of unique custom built buildings, many with korber kits as a base. So here are some of those custom structures in my files:

Here are some in situ. These are on the layout of a friend of mine who passed away several years ago. His wife keeps the layout going, and was responsible for many buildings and much of the landscaping.

Steve, thanks so much for this thread! The first kits I ever built were Korber and I loved the way they looked and how easy it was to put my own stamp on them! I never get tired of seeing what people do with them! Hope you consider tall smoke stack kits! Would really like to see those! You made my morning, Thanks again! Bill

As stated in an earlier email please don't forget the Pecos River Modular series. Having the various walls, windows, doors, details etc for sale for custom kit building would be beneficial. A good example is what a customer was calling the "Kilowatt" building - see below

Korber buildings can be seen on many layouts.  What I am going to show are on my layout and about 25 years old.  These buildings are great and stand the test of time.  If you want something custom, contact Alex M.

In the past three years, I've seen two Korber 2005 Warehouse kits on eBay (I got one of them). The Korber 2010 would also be a nice one (have only seen one and was seriously outbid). Uses similar panels in a different quantity and configuration.

Picked up this engine shed at York back in April (built by Alex M.)

This is a custom building I made using the modular "T" concrete walls from Pecos River Brass, now owned by Korber.

Three of mine still all unfinished after all these years.

In the postings file there are photos of my Great Western sugar beet plant built from three of the #953 pickle plants.  It is large and would have been larger if l could have gotten more kits, or the promised parts at the time (the dealer was going out of business).

What i great thread this has turned out to be !!!!!!

Alex, I feel you have made people  aware of the possibilities of what can be done with some imagination and  kit bashing skills to do great things with Korber buildings.   My good friend Dave C will hopefully chime in as he has some good ones the guys might like to see.  

The one thing I always liked about Korber is the material is strong and good to work with.  I feel this thread will go the distance.  I know that I am a huge fan.

This is my Korber three stall roundhouse. I detailed the interior, added lights and a smoke unit outside the rear of the building. I used aquarium hose and valves to rout the smoke through the building. Don

Didn't see your post. I'll check through my collection when I get home. In the mean time, here's a trackside view of a Korber Union Ice Company being switched.

Found the warehouse photo (2007 Open House). John built this from the Pecos River Brass modular panels (now a Korber product). It was loosely modeled after a Warehouse in the Port of Los Angeles next to the channel North of the Vincent Thomas Bridge. The panels were very easy to work with and provide a lot of flexibility. The awnings were added.

I had a thought that didn't die from solitude. Most of the Korber buildings use common panels, yet the panels themselves have never been offered separately (I've been outbid on a couple of auctions for loose panels). Why not list the component panels for separate sale -- not as individually packaged items, but in a parts catalog where they can be ordered and tossed into a shipping envelope for the customer. Since you need to have stacks of them lying around anyway to compile the kits it seems logical.

Kinda like the DPM modular wall sections

My incomplete power plant complex, its a loads in empty out with the coal mine on the other side of mountain. 

Took a better shot of the warehouse at the club Wednesday. Again, this is using the PRB-now-Korber Modular panels.
