Hi all - longtime lurker first poster here.  Curious to see if anyone knows if the modern Lionel Culvert Unloader (6-82030), can be used with conventional power on my layout?  All off the documentation on the unloader indicates it's command control, but I'm not using that on a temporary, seasonal layout where I'd like to use this accessory.  Would I be able to simply use a pigtail to the plug-and-play adapter like other plug-and-play accessories, and wire through a switch for operation?  Similar to how I operated the previous version of this accessory (6-37952).

Also, anyone know if there are any issues with linking the culvert ramp on 6-82030 to the previous version of the Culvert Loader (6-37951)?  Would like to have it connect to my currently owned Loader.

Welcome!  See page 4 of linked manual below for conventional power.  I'm guessing some but you may be able to trigger the new accessory with the 3rd wire in the pigtail.  The tooling looks the same so the ramp will work to join your older loader with your new unloader.
