Enclosed are some pictures of my new C&NW unit which Mr. Brown just delivered. I must say I'm impressed visually so far. The pilots do pivot separately from the truck blocks. The truck blocks are similar to the recent U-33Cs with all wheels driven via the side spur-gear train. The legacy IR sensor is buried in the fuel tank bottom face. There does look to be enough room to install Kadees and the mounting surface appears to be large enough for the draft gear box if the electro-coupler is removed.
I can't give you a running report as I'm in the midst of building a new retirement home and don't presently have a layout.
