Good Morning!

Yesterday we had some work done on an engine trying to trouble shoot a problem where the PS3 locomotive intermittently stops.  We have 3 MTH PS3 engines, and only have the issue with this single engine.  The first trouble shooting step was to replace the roller contacts since it seemed like one may have been a bit stiff.

I brought the engine home and now I cant find the engine through the DCS app.  We have the wifi unit connected to the TIU.  The other two locomotives work fine, so I don't think its an issue with the WIFI or TIU (I am testing it on the same track as an operating train).  The engine does power on and make sounds, but I cant connect via the app.

Is there a way to reset the engine, or any ideas on how to get the engine findable again?  I have done some research, and searched this forum, but have not found a similar issue yet to compare to.

Thanks for your help!

Hi everyone -

Thanks for your replies.  I was unable to recover the engine through the app, but I did try adding a new engine and it appeared under a new address name.  Not sure what all happened, but it works and now my son will be happy.  Im learning that this hobby has a bit of a learning curve.  Thanks again!
