So....I was pretty happy with my first cardstock structure from Clever Modles....and I went and bought another....Central Camera. I decided to try some ideas I had for full detail structures that if they didn't come out as well as I'd hope....not be seen right up front! I made a cornice for this building in place of the paper one in the kit and also made a 'glass and aluminum' store front. Here it is in the final stages.....

The cornice is aheet .080 plastic, wood trim from Lowes and some round and quarter stock plastic.  The glass store front is a sheet of 1/16" acrylic  to which I glued strip stock. I used the printed kit front as a guide. I then used Bare Metal Foil to trim out the plastic. Added the signage from the kit. Yet to add the interior.....will do that tonight as I stay home!

I'm happy the way my store front worked and will use this method on more detailed scratch built structures.
