Just got a box of 50 heroclix figures. Pleasantly surprised with the detail. 50 painted figures for around $40...can't go wrong. Now if they only had seated figures!
Been away a bit, but here's another batch I think you all will like. Not quite Heroclix, but similar material and style, and darn good paint too. These are the 8 figures from the Trivial Pursuit SNL DVD Edition.
They average about 34mm sole to eye. Which is the same as Heroclix. 8 Classic Saturday Night Live Characters and the game is only 10 bucks shipped used from Amazon. These guys will definitely be on my Christmas layout.
Only minor quibble is that the round base is one piece with the top hexagonal section so there's a bit of cutting to do and possibly rebasing. No biggie though.

Also, there are some early '00s versions of The game Clue that include figures of the characters.

They're a bit more novelty in style, closer 1/43 (37mm sole to eye) and the game isn't as cheap. However, they have allot of character, good paintwork and aren't exactly rare in resale shops which is where I picked up a copy with these for 2 bucks.
