Our friend Bill Henning photo shopped in this great sky into the photo I took on my layout.
All I could say was Wow and thank you Bill!

Very nice Skip!
Looks like a professional print and framing are in order.
Incredible ! Should be on the cover of OGR.
Brad
That would look awesome printed on canvas.
That would make a fun jigsaw puzzle!
Fantastic!

Now that is just like one of those promotional photos they used to run back in the day(pick a year from before 1975 or so). It really showcases it all in one mind burning image. Whether its the train, buildings, or an advertisement for just about anything(I know it isn't, but imagine if it was), you'd remember it.
"How fast are these running shoes? So fast that you'd think you were a steam locomotive breaking time against the morning sun coming up. Mohawk shoes, fastest running shoe east of Chicago.", announcer says.
Something like that. lol
Awesome Skip
Can I buy a framed / signed copy 👍🏼😎🚂
I think I’m going to get rid of my grandchildren and make that the background on my iPhone 😊
That is really cool
Awesome Skip! 👍
Nice! What a fun hobby huh? So many different aspects and possibilities of ways to enjoy!
Great photo with fantastic icons highlighted. A bit tough for a Philly guy to admit how very important NYC is to all of us, and how very significant in our cultural heritage.

I never stop being amazed at the many talents in our hobby. Photography being the most obvious to me.
Beautiful work guys!
Nice
That is so cool; the Mohawk looks like it is barrelling right off the bottom of the page. Excellent! (Alan, yours ain't too shabby, either!)
Most impressive, makes me green with envy!

Jim...GHEE...thanks!..LOL!! Hey, I know what you mean. I like Skip's too because it would be perfect for a catalog cover!
I always like the Chrysler Building a little better than the Empire State Building. I like to graceful curves at the top. It makes it look more Art Deco to me at least.
Now, just just imagine what can be conjured up once some kind of Start Trek-type holodeck technology becomes affordable for the hobbyist...Eric Siegel will be doing a review on a projector module he installed on top of a water tower or outdoor privy.
Well done!

That's sort of what I was saying Alan. But, it really could be for anything.

Hooray. Another Philly guy. And a really good one.

Skip that photo makes me think Lionel Catalog Cover.
Alan I didn't think photos of your fabulous downtown could get any better than the ones you've always been gracious enough to share with us but a great sky in the background proves I was wrong.
The magic of "photo shop"... Good thing I don't have it'. I'd never get anything done.. Definitely a cover shot for a train magazine'..
Great pic!

This is a lot less dramatic but still illustrates what Photoshop can accomplish. I PS'd the herbicide spray in this otherwise unretouched photo of my UP MOW guys at work.
