Since I really don't have room on my first floor for a Christmas layout I tried something different this year. I purchased a boat load of fast track and went nuts. I ran the track on the floor around the walls. IT'S REALLY COOL. It runs down the the wall and does a loop around the bottom of the tree then goes through a 45 degree crossing behind all the furniture into the dining room into the kitchen and down one wall to a loop and starts the trip over again. what a conversation piece. I have all the sound off and the train running at a moderate speed and you dont hear it until it enters the room where you're at. I must warn you! when you are finished don't look at the invoice from the hobby shop to see what you spent on track! i'm having a blast.

thanks

I used all different sizes curves. With fitters for straight and curved i got things to work without cutting tracks. talk about luck out!
