I have a 3rd rail SP 4-10-2 and will be converting to err from TAS. The chuff rate was adjustable with TAS and I am looking at how to provide the smoke and chuff rate with the change. Any Ideas

My Chuff-Generator allows you to program any chuff rate you desire.

I wondered about this when I upgraded the Darstaed A4 Mallard to TMCC. As it’s also a 3 cylinder engine. However I never looked into it further as there is no British Pacific Railsounds sound board.
Good to know it’s doable though.

Well, you have the small steam with the hooter whistle, sounds something like the British RR whistle. Here's a video of one...
Hi Guns, That’s my Video.
Yes the small engine sounds is pretty close.
You get the occasional rivet counter at shows say it doesn’t sound right. My normal reply is “It’s a toy train mate”.
By the way the Super Chuffer is working great in the engine. Really impressive smoke output.
I think it might be pretty tight fitting in the chuff generator between the flywheel and the shell. I’d have to have a good look at the clearance available.

I wasn't sure as I didn't recognize the YouTube name.
If you look at the new Super-Chuffer II, you'll find it's smaller in every dimension. I also had some issues at times sticking into locomotives that should have plenty of space, but it was still a tight fit. Here's a size comparison. Note that it's smaller in every dimension, and it really helps with fitting it into some smaller stuff.
