While these are Full 1:48 size, posted here since they are "out of the box", no added details.  Believe this is correct?

Anyhow, I am an EOM (equal opportunity modeler).  That was a reason I chose MainLine Steam as my Screen Name, I like these last Brutes of the Rails.  Doesn't matter which RR bought/built/ran them.

These are my favorites Steam Locomotives from two of the Great Competitors of the past.  PRR (Standard RR of the World) and NYC (Water Level Route / Great Steel Fleet).  You know they were in "Very Deep Trouble" when they decided they needed to Merge.  Yes, I realize the Niagara's were closer to being a direct competitor to the T1's.  But on an "Appearance Basis" the ESE is my absolute favorite Steam Loco - Period.  The John Wilkes & Black Diamond and Hiawatha Hudson's are close behind.  The T1 kinda grows on you.  Subtle elegance, you know like a sledge hammer.  LOL

So which do you like best?  Or maybe an SP GS-4/5 or N&W J or GN S-2 or ???  Please comment. Classic 1Classic 2Classic 3

Although I am a big fan of the PRR, The Weaver T1 honestly has a funky nose to it. In many reviews on this forum thst may have now been purged, the Williams brass T1 was juged slightly better although the noses were added on crooked. By far the best modeled buick nosed T1 is the 3rd rail with Williams slightly ahead in looks of the Weaver model.

prrhorseshoecurve did 3rd Rail/Sunset make their model with both the "Buick nose" and the original Long Nose?  Pictures I have seen of 3rd Rail and MTH are the Prototype 6110/6111 long nose with the appropriate early paint scheme.  That definitely was the better looking version.  I have only been at this a year so still trying to learn.  Thanks!
