I just called Classic Toy Trains direct by phone to get my 1 yr subscription which includes the February issue. At least I was promissed that issue to start anyways by the woman I spoke to. They were going to send the March issue and I said I'll take the subscription only if it starts with the February issue.
They did a nice article on your layout sirt. I like your weathered cars the most of all, but who doesnt. Who took the photos of your layout, was it you. I had a call a few days ago and they are putting one of our photos in the photo allbum for July and would like to see more of the layout for the future. I am not the best photographer but have been practicing a lot lately. I may lookinto a newer camera.
Great Article Steve,
Finally got to see the overview of your entire layout. Ofcourse my favorite shots are always New Dorp and the Yard with lower Manhattan in the background. I can see my office in that background.
PS If you guys want to see this article you can always subscribe to the electronic version of CTT. I got mine immediately.
Nice work! I thought I recognized your photos. Congratulations..
Steve,
Great article!
Your layout is outrageous! Looks just like parts of Staten Italy! (Staten Island). As we like to call it. LOL!

I just received the February issued as I wanted. Yes, that is a great article on your layout, Steve. It is interesting to note that I had actually thought of having cutouts on the tops of the subway tunnel boxes like was mentioned in the article to allow the light to shine on the station inside. On mine I decided to put the light fixture inside the box for simplicity. Since the only way to view the station I have is through the use of a mini cam, I was able to aim the cam so you don't see the light fixture inside.
