Hi Guys, Just letting you know the tables are selling fast so make your reservation soon and out of towners don't forget to reserve your room at the Red Roof Inn Willoughby. Tell the clerk "train show" to get the $45 rate. It reserves out every year. The dinner will be held at the historic NYC Painesville station located on the mainline. Featured topic of the presentation will be on the Cleveland Union Terminal and its connections. Don't miss it!

Hi Sam,
Evening clerk at the Red Roof knew nothing about the discount. The manager took care of it in the morning.
See you soon,
Al
Ah-hah! Here is yet another show posting that does not give date or location!

Try going to a 2 rail forum and looking - OGR is not a good source of information for 2 rail events.

It's a grand conspiracy to keep you from attending.

It's been listed on The O Scale Resource http://oscaleresource.com/ (Free on-line magazine) for a few issues in the show section as well as other O Scale magazines.

Seems strange to me to encourage attendance to this Cleveland show without stating time and place. If mentioned here, why not the whole story? I see this problem a lot,,,,as in bad directions/maps on show fliers ..
Dan, the Strasburg show is Oct. 15, not Oct. 14.
Yep... I knew that
I have never seen the location and time of the York show mentioned by the 3 rail guys on this forum either. I have never attended it, so I have no idea where it occurs.
I think information on both shows can be found in their focus magazines, and one their respective websites.
The York show WAS open only to members, who receive mailings citing dates. Now that it will next year be open to the public, and open shows have always leaped at chance to vacuum up your money, I won't be giving a way state secrets. York is 20-22 Oct. at the York fairgrounds ,. Open shows are scattered around town at motels and firehalls, beginning prior Monday. That is York, PA.
I'm as guilty as anyone else... it seems OGR does have an announcements subforum but like anything else we 2 railers get buried by the masses of three railers.
Anyhoo, probably best to visit https://ogrforum.com/forum/announcements on occasion to see what new and exciting things are happening.
When is the show?
Thanks for posting the website Bob.

Better to just visit the 2-rail forums and sites, and just maybe read and support your 2-rail publications.
We can beat each other up over almost anything. It is more fun when it is about prospective models. Opinion.

Been doing that from the 1980's, including such great pubs as the late great '48/ft O Scale News'.
But many people aren't as ancient as we so they miss the beauty of holding paper in their hands.
And besides, laptops and tablets just don't feel right whilst on the throne.
Some people just like to be lazy and complain.

That is what the internet is for, isn't it?

Let me clarify - the TCA York Meet will open only the Dealer Halls and only on Saturday to the general public, if you want to go earlier, find a TCA member to get you in. There are several Members Halls that won't be open to the public this meet, only the major Dealer Halls, still a lot of trains!

Is this the correct information, do you have a flyer? That I can share with, "The Detroit Model Railroad Club."

An O Scale dinner doesn't sound very filling. 1/48th of a meal? pass.

Come on over Dave. You're journey to the Dark side will be complete.
Missed you at the store last weekend. I see that scale couplers and fixed pilots have even started to show up on the store layout. It's just a matter of time...

Most could use a restrictive diet these days if they are not already on one,
You can get all the information on this show and the dinner on our website www.cleveshows.com. just scroll down to the show and click the appropriate buttons to print.
As there are other shows and dinners at this facility we have tradtionally called our dinner the O Scale Dinner so you are not eating at the wrong place. Sam

Hi mwb - The Detroit Model Railroad Club, went out for dinner tonight at AVIA, @ Holly, Michigan and we talked about the Cleveland Show. I learned that one of the members has already reserved a table and has a motel reservation, but he is not coming for the dinner.
Tonight at dinner I had a Half Order of their Classic Fish & Chips, no; 1 / 48th dinners on their menu. It sounds like a few more guys are coming but have not yet confirmed a table. They are coming as buyers.
