This is an O scale coal breaker with interior.  it has a working coal loader from AAA Turntables and a smoke generator in the stack.  Because of it size it is made in 3 sections that lock together.  All of the frames and board siding are nailed together.

Nice Work Stu.  Nice detail. Love the Steam Engine, Flywheel and generator.  We used to have a old Coal Tipple ( kind of like yours ) here in Colorado at the mine I work at. It was tore down back in the 90s. How long that take to build ?   You going to build a narrow gauge mine rail coming out of the mine ? You could do a rotary dump for the mine cars into the conveyor.  What did you mean when you said "it has a working coal loader from AAA Turntables"

Steve

Steve, The design and build time for this was 109 hours.  The boiler and flywheel are one of the working steam engines from Edmonds scientific, but this one does not work.  Here is a link to a video of the working coal loader.  AAA makes the mechanism and I made the brown coal bunker to store the coal. It uses scenic express rubber coal. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=648841575174103&set=vb.135168169874782&type=2&theater

there are no plans to add the other things you suggested but they would be a nice add on.  I all ways like to hear the comments from people that work in the field that the model is made to represent.  Thank you for your comments.
