Coal trains, SD70ACC, and 4 SD40Es on a local | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Five interesting trains started off eight hours of railfanning on the Fort Wayne Line. Besides the EMD power on the locals (an SD60E and 5 SD40Es) a SD70ACC was in charge of a westbound oil train, and a fresh AC44C6M trailed third on an infrequently seen coal train.

Train 1: NS C07 (incorrectly captioned) (0:00). SD40E 6339, SD60E 7002

Train 2: NS C28 (1:23). SD40E 6351 SD40E 6333, SD40E 6300, SD40E 6317

Train 3: Westbound coal loads (2:52). C44-9W 9838 (HH), C44-9W 9278 (THB)

Train 4: NS 572, eastbound coal (3:58). C44-9W 9455 (THB), C44-9W 9140 (THB), AC44C6M 4280 (fresh)

Train 5: Westbound empty oil (5:09) SD70ACC 1829, C44-9W 9848 (HH)

Good video, Dan! I used to go through there once a week to night classes at Robert Morris College/University long ago. I always saw a train!
