This is an edit I was up late last night finishing my coal shovel and 100lb coal bag to go with the yard screen. The shovel negative was made from clay, baked and the plastic vacuum formed, jewelry metal was used for the handle.
The 100lb coal bag was made from clay baked and painted. Both shovel and bag were modeled using Converse brand items as reference. Photos at end

Just finished up the scale model of my Grandfather Joe Conway. Joe was the muscle and foreman in the yard during the companies operation.
I used Fimo soft white modeling clay with a wire frame base, baked for 20 minutes at 235 deg then painted and coated with a matt finish. I used model power military color paints. This was my first person of this scale I have ever done. I was really scared to do to much cleaning up of any imperfections as I didnt want to mess something up. After I do a resin copy I will clean up imperfections and give a little more detail for a final mold.
