Coffee pot in oscale | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I am detailing the inside of a caboose.

There is a stove and a passenger who is holding a cup of coffee

it occurred to me he may have a friend or need a refill

my Google fu is useless

any one know where I might find an O scale coffee pot? Or even a suggestion for making one?

You might also try http://www.oakridgehobbies.com as they deal in supplies for doll house builders. They have quite a bit of items in 1/4" scale.

if the Berkshire Valley pot is even close to the picture, it's a pretty timeless design for a stove top.

paint it gray and then spray/splatter a bit of black and white over the surface and you might get that enameled metal look. hang a few tin cups close by to complete the look. nix the GenX condiments... RR coffee comes in any flavor you want as long as it's black!

If I recall correctly, there is a British company that makes "white metal" figures. They have a figure that is holding a coffee pot and would be perfect for providing a refill for your current passenger.

Of course, I might be conflating it with Preisler figure Insaw recently, but I'll do some digging around. It was a nice figure with sort of a western flare to it.

Some years ago I acquired one, and other items, when I browsed the Hobby Lobby jewelry making section. I found the coffee pot, a sewing machine, etc. in the charms section. In many diff stores, look in the charms dept. and see what they may have.

Still can't find the standing man with the coffee pot. It was part of a set, I think, with a seated man and a table and chair.

However, I did find a 1:43 coffee pot. Search either of these links for "AB 19 Oddments". It comes with a nice lantern and some cans.
