While I once may have known this, I can't remember, getting dumber as I get old I guess. I am connecting 3 mainlines with Ross switches. I plan for each mainline to have its own TIU channel output. The center rails on the switches need to be isolated, right?

Also, I plan on using 60 degree Ross crossings for a 4th mainline that will cross the 3rd mainline; I never used a crossing before - if the 4th line has its own TIU output, is there anything I need to consider when installing the crossing? I don't have one in my hands yet so I can't see how they're wired; maybe I can wire the 3rd and 4th mainlines to one TIU output?

Right, center rails need to be isolated.

I'm not familiar with Ross crossing, but I suspect that if you look under it, you'll see something connecting all 4 center rails.  You have to sever the connections between the crossing rail lines.  If you are breaking each circuit into blocks, this would be a handy place to have a block break.

There is no reason why you can't have 2 main lines on one TIU circuit.

As to getting dumber as you age, be optimistic:  remember that you're less dumb now than you will be.  Been there, doing that, so I know from experience.
