Has anyone done this? If so, what does the wiring look like??? Hooked in series or in parallel or what?? Finally, can the ERR board handle the load OK. Thanks in advance for any and all help on this.

The ERR Railsounds board is rated for an 8 ohm load so if you want two speakers use two 16 ohm speakers in parallel or two 4 ohm speakers in series. Lionel sells 16 ohm versions of their fat boy speakers. 4 ohm speakers are easier to find at places like Parts Express.

You would have to dig a little deeper to determine the speaker (circuit) output capacity in Watts. IMO, Mike CT. I put two speakers in one of my early TMCC conversion, it worked, but there seem to be considerable heat from the boards.
As long as the speaker load is 8 ohms or above you won’t overheat the board. Each speaker receives half the available power. FWIW I and a few friends have used two 8 ohm speakers in parallel presenting a 4 ohm load to the Railsounds board without a failure. Don’t try this at home. Not recommending this, just sayin’. Proceed at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty.

The RS-Lite board has an overload protection scheme, but I don't know how "bulletproof" it is. If the amplifier is over driven, the board shuts down briefly. That was the issue with the Legacy H10 when you had full volume and labored chuffing, the sound would simply crap out. Turns out they screwed up the sound files and were driving the output too strong for the board.
