My 50th anniversary version of the above has a remote control issue: at times, when I address it with the Lionel remote ( the orange remote controller from which you can run three trains), the horn sounds when it’s initiated and the horn, lights and sound work fine upon demand, but the motor doesn’t respond. Eventually, after turning the track power off and on several times, it is fine. What can I look for? I turned off my cell phone, thinking it was interfering with the signal, but that doesn’t help.
