that engine #2347 has the nice shade of blue on it, i LIKE that blue. the set looks like mint in the box postwar !!! I wished lionel can make a 1966 version of the 2383 set in PWC and NO electronics but just a electronic horn only and E-units, metal gears. i love that #6437, 6414 and #6464-735 as that was part of the 2383 set i had back in 1968.

I agree - It looks like it just came out of the original Postwar box. Looks like they got the coloring just right!

Actually, the PRR did lease some C&O geeps, so the PRR cabin car would be correct in this case!
My set ran great right out of the box. The engine was smooth and quiet. The only gripe was that I had to take the auto loader apart to remove the cardboard sleeve and plastic holding the cars on. Other then that, another great Lionel winner.
