Couple issues with a K-Line K-28841 Rock Island E8 | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Just acquired this one off the forum, new in the box. Loaded everything into the Cab 2 and there are no start up sounds. Horn and bell work though. Unfortunately I can't get it moving as it takes up the entire length of my workbench.

Issue 2. I have about two feet it can travel. When I move it forward it will go a few inches and stop. If I give it a nudge it will start again. Already popped the shells and checked all the boards, all seated.

Going to the club tomorrow to see if being on the layout has it act differently.

Any thoughts.

Do a reset. Make sure switch in RS not SS position. G

Issue #2 stopping... The lead A unit kicked off two traction tires. They were wadded up pretty good. Problem solved...
