On my NKP 767 Legacy Berkshire the rear coupler opens remotely via bluetooth and uncouples, but will not shut/ couple up again. I assume that it alternates each time you touch coupler symbol? Or is there a trick I am missing?

The coupler button only opens the coupler, it does not close it. The only way to close the coupler is to back into cars or manually close it with your finger.
Some dry lubricant on the coupler may help it close more easily, some of them are a bit stiff. Some of them need internal smoothing to close easily.
If you're going to the trouble of taking the coupler apart, smooth all the interior latching surfaces, I can make them couple "butter smooth" that way. I like to be able to couple up without having to run a warp speed and crash into the cars to couple up.
Ok thanks for all that but the first reply says theres nothing axtually wrong...
Are you thinking the coupler should close remotely?
I think this post was taken care of with the first reply.

Correct, my post was just suggesting dry lube to make it open and close easier and perhaps more reliably.
It would be nice if you could close them remotely then you could couple real easy. GRJ think you could come up with something ?
Not gonna' happen Clem, it would require some fancy mechanical work to do that. Gosh, even real train couplers need to bash together to coupler.
