CruiseCommander M Diesel kit Info

I have a couple of these CCM Diesel kits and am wondering what the difference is between them and the Steam version. The instructions seem to treat them the same.

I already got the answer from gunrunnerjohn by message (I posted in the wrong forum), but thought that others might benefit.

"The principal difference is the CC-M module puts out DUTY-CYCLE on pin 2 of the ten pin connector, the steam (generic) version puts SERIAL DATA OUT repeated on pin 2 of the ten pin connector."
