Just curious if anyone has heard the whereabouts of the CSX 911 and 1776? On one of the tracking apps, they seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth. There have been no reported sightings since late 2019. The photo sites don’t seem to have any new postings either.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

I think they're on display in Waycross. I think they're using them more for publicity than NS, instead of actual roster engines.

Some of my footage from their last big display event in Hamlet, NC. As far as I've heard, the current COO doesn't like the attention the units draw when on the road (typical of what every other road went through with a heritage or special livery) and would prefer them back in the drab standard livery. As far as it seems, they'll remain there until called back into service.

Sad to know that they have become show pieces that just sit. It just amazes me the choices by management. I would have them out running the system and promoting the causes for which they were painted.
