Hi everyone,

I'm trying to see on getting a current list of reliable train dealers online to order from for 2015. I know about Charles Ro and Trainworld (though never ordered from them before) and a few others. I used to order my Atlas O stuff from AM Hobbies but the gentleman that used to run the shop I believe had retired so I don't know who's doing the Atlas stuff now.

I'd like to work on getting a catalog for Lionel and MTH (which I can find on their respective sites) and an Atlas O catalog since I have some of their track and rolling stock (especially the Gunderson sets which I love). I also need to find a dealer that deals with the Ross track, as I may buy a few pieces of it to test out and try to determine what track system I want to invest in. If I remember I think with Ross you deal with them directly, but I don't think they have an active catalog for me to view their offerings.

There are lots of really great dealers that serve as sponsors above.  You need to get a feel for who you like.  Go to their websites, to find out for what they have to offer for sale. Check out the prices and shipping costs.  Email or call them if you don't find what you want.  It's hard to endorse one or two.  If you are looking for a particular item that may be new, but out not readily available, it's up to you to look around and find it.  There are some amazing bargains out there.  Just do the legwork, or in this case, finger work as you typing on your computer.

Have fun and you'll find what you desire.  Bob S.

I couldn't have said it any better than the responses above.  Let me add that if one knows how to use a phone and type on a computer, it is amazing the results that can be had!!  The banners and index we have here on the forum and the advertisers and index we have in the magazine along with the Dealer Roundhouse section in the magazine is an amazing resource...check them out!!
