Custom built O scale 36 foot Boxcar for Hi-rail 3-rail model railroad.

This is a 3-rail model of a 36 foot wooden boxcar having K-style brakegear and vertical handwheel. It is typical of early wooden boxcars that have been converted from truss rod underbody to a later style steel underframe. The model uses Lionel Bettendorf style sprung trucks. The boxcar is a freelance design. Not all details have been added. No lettering has as yet been applied.
