I've seen some pictures before of Standard Gauge Lionel Electrics covered not diesel switchers. Here's one from eBay.
There was even a post here about a Custom 318 Diesel Switcher by Chris Lonero. That topic was closed so I am starting a new one.
I have a No 10 Electric I'd like to try this with. I was wondering Chris and anyone else who might have done this, how hard is it to take the electric body apart? It looks like the center cab and the two hoods are all separate pieces, but do they just come apart easily or are there some tricks to it.
