Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Canadian Toy Train Association is pleased to announce that MTH is manufacturing a British Columbia Electric Railway SW-8 diesel engine unit.
This very limited production “O” gauge scale engine is in the MTH Railking Scale line and comes in two road numbers in 3 rail.
This is short notice but MTH can squeeze us in prior to them closing down.
What I am trying to determine is whether there is enough interest to pursue this project.
In other words - Can I get enough orders for the MTH minimum order requirements?
As with our previous BCH diesel; we would sell these at our cost; which is a great deal for the buyers.
I do not know the pricing but I would guess in the $325 US range – delivery late 2021.

The engine is the similar yellow and red colors as our earlier BC Hydro but has the BC Electric totem logo.
This will likely be our last chance to get an engine made.
