Looks like you changed the layout from the original blue print. It's looking very nice. Nice collection of lanterns.
Its a bit different, not much. There are about 50 more lanterns in storage. Don't think he can get them all out. We did have the great screwdriver incident of 2020 yesterday. I powered it up and it shorted immediately. I thought I messed up the power buses, but an errant phillips head was laying across the tracks. Removed it and all is well with the track wiring.
@Kelpieflyer posted:I found an MTH truss bridge that is 30 inches long. The opening is 30 5/8", so i think it will work. May get two and put them together for both tracks.
The tracks may be too wide together for an Atlas double track Truss bridge. Those are 40" long.
If you attach a small ledge to bottom of the deck on each side it won't stick out too far for walking through the space. The MTH arch truss is a good looking bridge. There is even a Christmas version with lights.
Dad bought an MTH double track bridge. It's part number 401107. Says it is 32 inches long and 10 15/16 inches wide. It doesn't say how wide it is on the inside. We may need to get the two tracks a bit closer together for it to work. From the outside of each track it is 6 5/8" wide. We got the trolley line installed and I installed switches to isolate the siding and the two small spurs. The bridge should be delivered this week, so we will get that installed a bit later.
Ignore the huge mess on the layout. We have been running a few trains while working on the track and switches. These Marx switches are really crude and bumpy, but we have to use them as his Marx "fat wheel"engines won't go through a Lionel or Gargraves switch without derailing.

Russell,
Glad to hear and see that both of you are well and working on the trains. They are running nice and smooth. You could give Ross Custom Switches a call and ask if their switches work with Marx. I see that you made the bridge fit well - I hope it wasn't a lot of work.
I'll call Ross to see what they may have. The bridge wasn't too difficult, only really, really tedious to get the rails right.

They have a series of switches called tinplate 072 and #4 and will have some knowledge on what if any can help.
