Not the prettiest of the recent 'company colors' schemes, but the DCS Service Station Special ES44ac has arrived--I got the call from Nassau Hobby this morning, and so jumped on the LIRR for a side trip to Freeport, returning in the thick of rush hour with my prize:
It joins the Railroader Club ES44 for my train of York boxcars.
I may stick the 'company colors' SD70ACE on the end of the consist. In this photo the rear of the Imperial model is even with the rear of the ES44 next to it, so there is that size thing between RK-I and Premier, but at least the rooflines are similar.
At first I was hunting for units like these, now I have a threesome. Maybe for a Christmas display, I can add the GE Hybrid too
