I tried again--still no go.
MTH, I think this is a reasonable feature to include in the Explorer app.
All in all, I really like the experience of using it-- despite the difficulty in sliding the engine sound up and down--round button often does not respond and the sound level will not change.
Also, setting maximum speed would be nice, like the LC Bluetooth. The MTH App says I can do this, but directions are sketchy on how to accomplish this. The E stop feature is great--I managed to turn that on.
The edit engine name and address features did not make it into the DCS Explorer app. They were left in the manual as we intend to release an update with these features included. Sorry for any confusion.
Here's a tip on the volume slider. In Android, just tap on the line wherever you want the volume set. In iOS, touch and hold the circle momentarily before sliding it. This is an iOS standard feature and I agree, it can be a little clunky. Especially when your hands are dry, etc.
Max speed is available in the latest release of the Explorer app. It's really easy to find. From the main engine control screen, just swipe to the left twice or tap the gear icon at the top. This takes you to the engine settings screen. From this screen, about halfway down, you can set the max speed. It uses the same iOS slider as the volume so, see the tip above.
Enjoy!!
