The Explorer allows user to set and lock a maximum speed of each engine.  Start up the engine.  From main engine page that shows speed dial select the "more" button at bottom right of the screen.  Select advanced features then system settings.  Unselect the Max Speed Lock and assign a password (you could also unselect the Hide E Stop button here also which will allow track power to be turned off after you shut down engines).  Select Engines on tab bar at bottom of screen.  Select the Settings Icon at top right of screen and scroll down to Speed Control.  After selecting the max speed you want press the "more" button on the far right of the bottom tab bar.  This should take you back to the screen that allows you to lock the max speed.  Enter password, press the engines icon at bottom left of tab bar, then the speedometer symbol at upper left of screen.  The dial now  only displays numbers up to the max speed selected.  The max speed can be unlocked or changed using the same procedure.

This worked like a charm! Thank you so much for posting this!

I wish that MTH would design a premium app that would allow me to have a few more features for the Explorer. I would gladly pay for the app-- but I'm not interested in going to full DCS. I would gladly pay to be able to add features , I just don't want to hastle the hardware. The Explorer works! Good job, MTH!

Thanks!!  And, if you're so willing to pay, maybe we can work something out... ;-)  Ha, ha....

Happy New Year
