I have the Explorer wired in, the wps and wifi lights go on and do some blinking then go out. No dcs signal is detected by my android or Ipad. It doesn't matter whether I am on home or mth setting. What am i doing wrong?

Try resetting the Explorer. This is done with a paper clip and bending one end out to push the "reset" button inside the Explorer through the top of the unit. The unit must be powered on and you have to hold the reset button in for at least 10 seconds. Wait a 60 seconds for the device to reinitialize and then power cycle for good measure. This procedure should reset the unit to factory defaults.
