Hi everyone,

I am in the design process of a new Hi-rail 2R layout using DCS. I will have a few reverse loops and I want to make sure I plan for these appropriately.

As I understand PS3 is not sensitive to polarity like PS2 was. Is that correct? Does that mean I can simply insulate both rails at some point in the loop and the PS3 electronics will just handle it? Or is an auto reverse module needed like used in DCC?

Are PS2 engines capable of traversing reverse loops if I used an auto revers module? Or are PS2 engines simply incapable of using reverse loops?

Thanks in advance!

Jonathan
