DCS Remote Control

Connect the TIU's Remote input port to the remote with a (curly) telephone handset cable and see if things improve.

I had a similar problem.  Delete the engines on the inactive list, then add them one at a time. This should get you out of the problem.

Maybe tighten up  all your wire connection on the tiu/ terminal strips  etc. DCS doesn't like loose connections.  Adding engines can really get mucked up  if you try and  add with other engines on the track. This is a good example. A programming track or only one engine on the track at a time while adding.  If you only have a few engines and no aiu I would reset the remote, which will delete everything. Add them back one at a time .

 If the  batteries  are  good they should add back with the same ID number.

 

First..As Barry mentioned tether the tiu  and  remote to see if things improve. Have you done a track signal test recently?

Thank you for your input, my track signals appear fine and will make the suggested changes, I am snowed in at the moment but visit Best Buy so that I can tether the TIU and remote tomorrow.
