I'm having an issue with my DCS remote (Rev. L). The display is EXTREMELY dim (barley visible at all without turning on the backlight) and also the remote turns itself off after about 1 mintute or so of inactivity. Yes, the batteries are good, and yes i did test them with a bettery tester to be sure, and yes, I tried replacing them anyway. This is not a battery issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
The remote has settings for contrast and auto time off.
For contrast: Menu/System/LCD Contrast and adjust using the thumbwheel.
For Auto Time Off: Menu/System/Remote Setup/Remote Power Down and adjust using the thumbwheel.
If the contrast issue persists, there were some remotes that were manufactured with a defective component that must be swapped out. In this case, contact MTH directly for warrantee information.
