Did you try doing feature and factory resets, sometime it makes a difference, does your remote communicate to the tiu, if your only using one tiu it should report tiu 1 found.  if not you might try a tiu reset which will set tiu back to factory specs!

ps also are you running ps 2 or ps 3 engines, ps 2 are polarity sensitive where as ps 3 or not polarity sensitive !

You might try tethering the remote with a phone handset cord. That will get the remote communicating with the TIU and go from there.

Can you describe the layout itself as far as size, how it’s wired, how many channels are used on the TIU and how well it previously functioned ?  Your mentioning multiple engines. Are all these engines residing on the layout or are they coming off of shelves and have been inactive for some time ?

You made need to just start out testing with something as simple as a 3 ft. coming out of Fixed One just to test the TIU channels. Start small and go from there if nothing obvious jumps out as to the problem. I doubt every engine could have an issue.

layout is a odd shape made out of 3 sections 1st section is- 11'x6',2ed- 8'x2', 3rd- 9'x5' after every switch track there is a home run to a terminal black for power. main line has 6 home runs back to the terminal block. Everything is ran off fixed 1 for my main line. most of my mth engines are  ps3. it worked no problems for years lay out is roughly 6 years old. this morning i disconnected the track from the tiu and ran wires to a short section of track off the layout and the problem is still there. i don't have a phone cored but ill get one and see if that helps anything

I suspect your TIU has a track signal issue.   I doubt the phone cord is going to change your issue.

What is the hardware version and current software loaded in the TIU/Remote?

Thought you should get a flash of the red light. In your case 1 flash for TIU, 2 flashes for TIU etc. , then the red light stays on steady. In any case your remote finds the TIU and identity’s it as TIU 1. The only other thing I can offer for now. Is to go into the TIU settings and make sure the DCS signal is turned on. On all 4 channels. I believe AON turns them all on.  The other thing. I’ll have DCS engine miss the watchdog signal being on a toggled siding and start in conventional. I can hit start up and shut them down or run it. Is the engine on your newly made programming track already active in the remote ?  If so. Try hitting start up and see if it responds.  Your setup has gone from sort of working from your first post to not working at all.
