Been meaning to post this during the summer but never got around to it. I bought a Williams Western Maryland FA-1 since I really liked the size and the paint and detailing is terrific. But I run all command control so to the bench it went and now we have this. And no I didn't take pictures during the installation, what I did do was basically I used a diesel upgrade kit and extended the wires for the functions of the rear of the diesel back to the rear A unit by using a 10 pin tether and the harness 10 pin connector from a toasted steam engine. I needed 6 wires and I wanted it to correspond to the PS-2 wiring and had the parts on hand so that's why I used those parts. The female end from the engine went on the back of the lead A mounted at the rear of the frame raised 1/4 inch to clear the frame, and a rectangular hole was cut through the door to allow the Rear A wire tether to be plugged in.

The Rear A unit I drilled hole through the door for the wire to go in and then mounted the proto 2 coupler, rear marker lights and rear headlight from the upgrade kit. I used 2 pin connectors inside the Rear A to the lights, etc, in case the tether needs to replaced down the road it will be plug and play. I attached some diaphragms to the rear of each A unit which hides the anaconda nicely. Here is a crappy video of the engine on the track. Sorry but only have a flip cam or the blackberry for video, and I t'aint much good using either lol .
