DCS V5 Files with Windows 10 | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Good Morning Everyone from the Pacific Northwest!

I was attempting to update the TIU to the latest version using Windows 10. I have updated the TIU before, it is an older H.1, but is about 2, maybe 3 updates behind due to being in storage for a few years. I've been through way too many moves over this period of time and I am just now getting things back out of boxes...

I was able to successfully download the latest Consumer Loader, but when I attempted to download the DCS V5 files for the upgrade, the files do not appear in the folder I selected, this being the My DCS folder, nested under the MTH folder. I do get a message that the files successfully unzipped, but they are not in the folder. I also did a search on the hard-drive, and the message came back; files not found.

Has anyone had any similar issues or made any attempts to use Windows 10 to download or complete the upgrade? Thanks for any tips or hints you can offer!

try putting the files to your desktop when you unzip. should be easy to see.
